"Evening classes start" for a limited time in February!

Let me introduce to you our new student of City and Guilds International Barista Course - a hearing-impaired person from the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf.

In fact, the abilities of hearing-impaired people are no less than those of ordinary people. In class, they listen and practice very attentively and even respond enthusiastically.

Language can be transformed into thousands of ways. Basically, they can communicate with people through lip reading, simple sign language, body language and text, so whether they are teaching or becoming a barista in the future, they can communicate well with everyone.

Who says only able-bodied people can learn about coffee? Coffee is a great starting point for exploring interests. As long as you are interested in coffee, anyone can seize the opportunity to integrate into society after professional training.

For the next courses, I hope you will continue to give me your guidance!

The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf was established in 1968 and provides publicity, education, recreation, counselling, hearing and medical services to the hearing-impaired. It is committed to promoting the welfare of the hearing-impaired and helping them create more opportunities in society.
