The Italian Barista Certificate (formerly known as the Italian Barista Method) is a globally certified professional coffee training course. The course focuses on the real needs of a barista or roaster and teaches all learning topics based on actual training protocols.

The job scope of a barista is wider than usually imagined.Coffee actually also means relationships with customers, efficiency and speed at the machine and at the counter. Therefore, IBC advocates combining knowledge with efficiency, science and strong practical ability through practical training, so that students can become true coffee experts! It not only teaches how to make perfect espresso and cappuccino using the most traditional Italian recipes, but also teaches coffee mixology and a series of lesser-known Italian coffees.

IBC is divided into four major areas (Latte Art, Barista, Roast and Cup and Brew the World), every areaIt is divided into two levels: Basic and Advanced. Completing all areas at each level will lead to the Diploma certification of Junior Coffee Specialist and Coffee Specialist respectively.

Tasse Coffee is the only IBM officially recognized teaching and examination venue in Hong Kong.
