Tasse Coffee Hong Kong Local Coffee Bean Identification and Sustainable Development Workshop

As a company committed to providing a high-quality coffee experience, Tasse Coffee not only focuses on the quality of the coffee itself, but also actively assumes corporate social responsibility. In order to further promote sustainable development, Tasse Coffee has organized a series of local coffee bean identification and sustainable development workshops to give everyone a deeper understanding of the origin and production process of coffee.

Local coffee bean identification

Although the climate in Hong Kong is not suitable for coffee cultivation, there are still a few growers trying to cultivate coffee trees locally. Tasse Coffee invites these local coffee farmers to introduce their planting process and the characteristics of coffee beans. Through professional coffee tasting, participants can personally experience the unique flavor of Hong Kong coffee beans.

Sustainability Workshop

In addition to understanding the origin of coffee, Tasse Coffee also invited sustainability experts to explain the social and environmental impacts of the coffee industry. The workshop explored issues such as resource consumption, carbon emissions and the impact on small farmers during coffee production. Participants can learn how to support a more responsible coffee supply chain through consumption choices.

Practice sustainable development

After the workshop, Tasse Coffee also encouraged participants to take some simple actions to support sustainable development. For example, choose to buy organic or fair trade certified coffee, or participate in a coffee grounds recycling program. Everyone’s efforts can contribute to improving the sustainability of the coffee industry.
